Is it really this prevalent?

Now that this book is in circulation the statement I hear most often is “I have a (friend, spouse, mother, grandfather, sister etc.) with dementia, I need to read it. In fact, I would like to buy two copies, I know someone else who needs it.”

Really, is dementia already this widespread? I suspected this was so, and now it is being borne out in my experience with others. I would like for this blog to become a sort of forum for those going through this experience and what you are doing, learning, hearing from God, and any other questions and discussion you would like to bring to the table. We are in this together. We are soul mates in a mist of confusion so complex it defies understanding.

I welcome your contribution to this journey.
